Nice enough cafe, layout could be better and I have had better scones at other Trust properties. Staff were doing their best under the circumstances.

The best time of the year is spring and summer, when the cows are free to roam in the fields around the church. They are beautiful to see and sometimes curious about the people that walk through. The cows coming into the field are one of my ‘signs that summer’ has arrived. Hughenden Manor cafe is clean and well located for local ramblers, dog walkers and obviously people who visit the trust property. It’s got a good selection of cakes, bakes, hot food and ice cream. Hot drinks made just as well as any coffee shop. Worth a visit for anyone, especially with the staff being so friendly!

Ordered jacket potatoes, pulled pork bap, curried vegetable pasta and chips. Very nice food, good portions and well presented. Personally I thought good value for nice food, and could easily rip people off but seems reasonable. The cafe inside seating area is spacious and allows well behaved dogs too. Gets busy at times but when the sun is out everywhere will be the same! Slightly terse staff but I think that’s probably due to the busyness today

Sat outside in pleasant surroundings, had a bit of a wait but understandable as they were very busy and what we had ordered was worth waiting for. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
